# Track brand mentions

> Experimental: receive brand mentions with their source and available author context.

See who's talking about your developer product and what they're saying. Read the original post, then decide whether to answer a question, share feedback with your team, or research the account.

## Proposed endpoint

`POST /v1/monitoring/company-mentions`

## Example setup

Start with your brand's domain. You can also provide a LinkedIn company URL to help identify it. This draft does not support LinkedIn-only setup. We still need to confirm which channels the Waterfall offering will cover.

## Example finding content

A fictional example, focused on the `content` object:

We may not be able to identify every author. Some mentions may have no professional profile or employer details.

## Use it in your workflow

Read the original mention before classifying it. Route a technical question to the right team, review product feedback, or [enrich the author's company](/v1/enrich-accounts) when a usable domain is available. A mention alone does not establish interest in a sales conversation.
